Review and manage all new reservations, cancellations, and modifications on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Monitor and manage OTA (Online Travel Agent) reservations, including daily checks for cancellations and new bookings.
Ensure that rates for new reservations are correctly updated and reflect current pricing strategies.
Verify and manage bookings with "hotel collect payments," ensuring that payment details are accurate and up to date.
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities with each reservation.
Proactively convert sales inquiries into confirmed reservations, contributing to overall hotel profitability.
Monitor and manage group reservations, negotiate rates, and follow up on group inquiries to secure bookings.
Respond to inquiries from external suppliers and guests promptly and professionally.
Conduct follow-ups with groups and ensure all special requests or requirements are met.
Provide clear and timely communication to the reception and other relevant departments, especially regarding VIP guests and late arrivals.
Assist in managing the hotel's availability and ensure that information is accurately communicated to the relevant teams.
Attend daily communication meetings to stay informed on hotel operations and updates.
Perform regular checks on reservations systems, such as Rezlynx, to ensure accuracy and alignment with OTA portals like Booking.com, Expedia, Avivo, HRS, and GDS.
Handle deposits and payments efficiently, ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.
Regularly check for no-shows, process charges, and send appropriate communications to guests.
Update reports and other relevant data as required.
Respond to reports from the accounts department regarding room pickups and cancellations, providing detailed information where necessary.
Prepare and send the hotel’s availability handover to the reception team every Friday.
Be available to assist other departments with tasks that may differ from those listed in your primary responsibilities.
Perform any additional duties as required by management to ensure the overall success of the hotel.
